Peter Kunz Architektur was founded in Winterthur in 1990 following a commission for a new industrial building. Since then, his work has been shaped by functionality and the search for the most efficient structure, from industrial projects to dense, atmospheric residential developments. A member of the BSA (Swiss Architects' Association) since 2002, he co-founded STRUT ARCHITEKTEN AG in 2014 with partners, which gave him the space to focus increasingly on product design, developing furniture and objects with manufacturers such as Arper, Burri, Embru...

His work distinguishes between technical sustainability, driven by the intellect, and emotional sustainability, driven by intuition: objects we love, cherish and pass on to the next generation. Both shape everything he does, along with the joy of the creative process.
